Individual Coaching

One on one coaching is offered to create a client-centered wellness plan that is focused on 8 core areas of life: relationship with self, community (friends and family), physical body, emotions, mind, purpose, and fun. We will partner with you to identify goals for creating the life you want, refer to supportive services for learning in areas of desired growth, and provide tools for staying motivated to work through change. Coaching is a process for moving forward and having someone to challenge and support your growth.

Group Coaching

There is something powerful that happens when people come together with similar goals and who want to do this work in community with others. Whether you have a supportive group already or you would like to connect with new people, group coaching is an opportunity to grow and learn from others during your process.

Workshops

An opportunity to take a deeper look into topics of self-care, self-love, vicarious trauma, intentional living, mental health, and finding your purpose. Workshops take place in many environments including corporate, small business, private, and public event spaces.

Community

We provide training and engagement in the community to support wellness, mental health, and growth on many levels. We partner with other practitioners in the Portland area and provide training and consultation for businesses, groups, and private events. We love talking about the healing medicine of self-care and how to make it accessible to all. We have a trauma-informed lens and believe it is necessary to discuss privilege and oppression in conversations about self-care.

Cat Smith, MA Ed, BCC

In a world full of competing pressures and expectations, it can be difficult to know who you are, what you want, and what’s getting in the way of your success. As a Board Certified Coach, I utilize an evidence-based approach that illuminates individual strengths and resources and is action-based. We are all capable of overcoming limiting beliefs and self-defeating behavior. Sometimes we just need a little help envisioning the path forward and then taking the necessary steps.

Cat has a Masters in Education specializing in school counseling. She worked as a high school counselor for 8 years and then earned certificates in Youth Leadership Coaching and Youth Mentor Coaching through the Youth Coaching Institute. She is experienced in helping people set and achieve educational, career, and personal goals while developing a greater sense of self. She has a strong belief that we all possess the answers we need to thrive and sees her role as helping people access this. Her strengths in engagement, intuition, and empathy allow her to create a safe space for growth. Cat brings an equity lens to her work with people, leaning on her training in Courageous Conversations. Much of her experience involves strength-building, empowerment, leadership development, and solution-focused counseling to guide people toward their fullest selves.
